John Robert Lewis Early Childhood Center
Mr. Patrick Yearwood, Principal | It all starts here.
Welcome to John Robert Lewis
Early Childhood Center
The John Robert Lewis Early Childhood Center in Orange, NJ is a proud part of the Orange Public School District, serving as the foundation for our youngest learners. Named in honor of Congressman John Lewis, a champion for justice, equality, and education, our center is deeply committed to fostering a love of learning in every child.
We provide high-quality early childhood education for Pre-K students across the district, offering a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our highly skilled educators use research-based practices and engaging, hands-on activities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage creativity.
At the John Robert Lewis Early Childhood Center, we recognize that early education is the cornerstone of lifelong success. That’s why we partner closely with families, ensuring that every child receives the support, resources, and encouragement they need to thrive. Through our strong community connections and commitment to excellence, we prepare students not only for kindergarten, but also for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and achievement.
